Delete your account

Option 1: Delete from within the app

The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data:

1. Open the Bucket Filler app and sign in to your parent account.
2. Go to Settings → Account.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm.

This permanently and irreversibly removes your parent account, all child profiles, learning progress, points and reward history. If you are asked to sign in again first, please log out and back in, then repeat the steps (this is a security check before deletion).

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email us from the address registered to your account and we will delete it for you:

info@awensoftware.co.uk — subject line "Account deletion request".

Please include the email address associated with your Bucket Filler account so we can verify and locate it. We will action verified requests within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your parent account and sign-in details (email address).
• All child profiles you created (names, year group, region, avatars).
• All learning progress, points, badges and reward history.
• Family and child link codes.

What data is kept, and for how long

We retain a limited amount of data only where required by law or for legitimate business records:

• Purchase and transaction records are held by the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and by us where required for tax, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes, for up to 7 years. These records do not include your learning content.
• Backups and logs may retain residual copies for up to 90 days before being automatically purged.
